Just coming out of the thicket of mangrove forest, on the green and luscious Malabar coast in Kerala you get a mesmerizing panoramic view of the vast Arabian sea, stretching all the way west to the East African coast. That exact moment makes me wonder that why we as human beings are so fascinated and amazed by the oceans and the seas, by the huge mass of water. Maybe because the ocean being the site of genesis of life itself, we all are drawn to it naturally. Maybe because it reminds us how insignificant we are compared to what mother nature has created.
